Meet Jerry Toney, a seasoned professional with 25 years of experience in the financial industry, who serves as the President of Cadence Investment Services. A proud alumnus of Mississippi State University, Jerry is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ who has earned numerous accolades throughout his career.
His notable achievements include being recognized among the Top 25 Program Managers for 2020 and 2019, as well as among the Top 100 Bank Advisors for 2019, 2018, 2016, and 2015 by Bank Investment Consultants. LPL Financial has also honored him as the 2023 Top Program Manager and the 2017 Top Producing Program in his peer group.
Jerry's commitment to his community and alma mater is evident through his extensive involvement. He has served as Past Chair for the Greater Starkville Development Partnership and the Northeast Mississippi Council of the Financial Planning Association. He is also an Advisory Board Member for the Mississippi State University (MSU) Department of Finance and Economics, and has served on various other boards and committees, including the Golden Triangle Development Link, Mississippi Economic Council, Young Presidents Organization, MSU Master Planning Committee, MSU Foundation Investment Committee, and the MSU Athletic Council. Additionally, Jerry has served as Treasurer, Vice President, and President of the National Board of Directors for the MSU Alumni Association.
Giving back to his alma mater, Jerry has been an adjunct lecturer in the MSU Department of Finance & Economics and was selected among the 100 Most Distinguished Alumni by the MSU College of Business.
